Welcome to our Business Current Account Online Application Form for new and existing NatWest customers. The application form should take you approximately 15 minutes to complete - to save time make sure that you have all account signatory and business details to hand before you start. Please note that this account is only available for businesses resident in England, Scotland and Wales. If you have not already done so, take a look at what we'll need to open your account and then you'll be ready to apply online via your PC.

Please read carefully the section headed 'Your Information' in the accompanying Business Current Account, Business Instant Access Reserve Account and Bonus Reserve Account Terms and Conditions. This explains how we will use your information both now and after your account is opened. You will see this symbol by that section.

PadlockCredit reference agencies

We may obtain information about you from credit reference agencies and Group records to check your credit status and identity. The agencies will record our enquiries which may be seen by other companies who make their own credit enquiries. We may use credit scoring.

Your information may be linked to, and your application assessed using credit reference agency records relating to anyone with whom you have a joint account or similar financial association.

PadlockFraud prevention agencies

If false or inaccurate information is provided and fraud is identified or suspected, details may be passed to fraud prevention agencies.

We may also obtain information about you from fraud prevention agencies.

For details of how the information held by fraud prevention agencies may be used, please refer to the terms and conditions for the account under the heading "Fraud prevention agencies" or contact your branch.

Online Application Process

After submitting your online application form, we'll consider your application and get back to you within 5 working days to arrange an appointment. At this time we will require proof of identification and address from ALL account signatories to be taken into a branch in person, together with any other documentation requested to complete the application process and open the account.

If you are a Sole Trader and already have a personal account with NatWest we may be able to undertake the application and identification process more quickly, using your existing details. In order for us to complete the required security checks, we will send your initial welcome letter to the address we already have for you - i.e. the address your personal account is registered at. All further communications will be then sent to the correspondence address you specify on the application form.

Please note - All information submitted during this application is protected by strong security techniques including 128-bit encryption.
